Scope of the Position:

Marketing & Digital Communications Manager at SS-CASE-IT is expected to represent and promote the University, increasing its visibility and supporting the institution’s mission, vision, and goals. The incumbent will be responsible for developing the University’s brand vision, strategy, and campaigns to attract the best students, motivate alumni, and recruit world-class faculty and staff. The incumbent will be responsible for media relations, advertising, marketing, internal campus communications, brand standards, publications, graphic identity, social media, publishing services, photography and maintenance of the University’s official website. In addition, the incumbent will also provide strategic direction, ideas and support to academic and administrative units.

Job Responsibilities:

            Marketing & Digital Communications Manager at SS-CASE-IT will be responsible for following functions:

  • Digital Communications: Using the web and emerging technologies to create and disseminate content that supports University’s key messages and brand. This includes publishing across multiple media, including social media, text, blogs, etc. to meet the needs of a diverse audience; including potential students, faculty and relevant organizations / industries.
  • Marketing and Communications: Conceptualizing University’s branding standards and producing materials, including posters, standees, brochures, and various other print communications. This also includes providing consultation on university brand standards, visual identity, graphic design, and integrated marketing plans.
  • Marketing and Communication Campaigns: Developing and executing marketing and communication / liaison plans for admission campaigns in colleges related to student recruitment / admissions in various degree programs being offered at SS-CASE-IT along with executing other academic events like job fairs / industrial visits / seminars etc. in collaboration with the designated University’s administration.
  • Public Relations / Branding: Lead marketing, public relations, communication, and branding functions across campus, working closely with staff and faculty to identify and communicate key messages throughout multiple campaigns while also integrating brand consistency throughout campus.

Required Qualification, Experience and Skills:

The job incumbent must have a degree in marketing / communications / public relations / business administration, or related field.

Relevant experience is preferred in managing comprehensive and strategic marketing and communications department.

 

Other requirements include:

  • Leadership experience in the areas of digital media relations, publication, advertising, website development, social media, student enrollment marketing, and electronic communications
  • Demonstrate enthusiasm for working with and understanding the culture and needs of college students seeking higher education.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work independently and within a group as needed.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical, leadership and organizational skills, with the capacity to focus on details
  • Possess excellent writing skills and the ability to communicate succinctly and persuasively with the appropriate message and tone, specifically through social media.
  • Experience in development of strategic communications and academic campaign plans for promoting positive University’s image
  • Demonstrate excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrate excellent creative, analytical, and organizational skills
