Ms. Salma Asif is serving as a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science at Sir Syed CASE Institute of Technology since 2025. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Computer Science at FAST NUCES, Islamabad, where she has worked as a Ph.D. Fellow in the Artificial Intelligence Diagnostic Laboratory. She contributed to the project “Virtual Biopsy for Classification, Outcome Prediction, and Treatment Planning of Brain Tumors (ViCOT)”, carried out in collaboration with Aga Khan University and Hospital, and funded by the HEC Grand Challenge Fund. She also brings industry experience in the healthcare sector and has delivered multiple AI training sessions as an instructor at institutions including Aga Khan University and Hospital, NUST, COMSATS, FAST NUCES, and Innovista. Her research interests span computer vision, medical image processing, natural language processing, artificial intelligence, and deep learning.
