Biography
Dr. Hameed Ullah Khan is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Computer Science Department at Sir Syed CASE Institute of Technology. He earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science from COMSATS University Islamabad in 2024.
Dr. Khan brings over seven years of professional industry experience with expertise in AI engineering, software development, and system analysis. He has held prominent positions such as Lead AI Engineer and Senior AI Consultant, contributing to several high-impact technology initiatives. Notably, he was a key AI contributor in the development of the Tamasha app for Jazz, a flagship project in Pakistan’s digital entertainment landscape.
Dr. Khan was actively involved with the Medical Imaging and Diagnostic Lab at the National Center of Artificial Intelligence (NCAI), where he worked on cutting-edge research and development in medical image analysis. His work focused on deep learning applications for histopathology image classification, segmentation, and diagnostic support systems, contributing to advancements in AI-driven healthcare solutions in Pakistan.
Dr. Khan has also authored several research publications in internationally recognized journals published by IEEE, Elsevier, and Wiley. His research interests include image processing, computer vision, deep learning, artificial intelligence, and large language models.
