Fundamentals of Business Operations and Management
In this module, participants will dive into various business structures, from small startups to large corporations, exploring sole proprietorships, partnerships, and companies. They’ll gain practical insights into running a business, covering key topics such as performance management strategies, pricing techniques, financial and non-financial performance assessment, Critical Success Factors (CSFs), Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), budgeting, and workforce management, including labor turnover and incentive programs.
Accounting Principles
This module will immerse participants in both financial and management accounting, highlighting the unique functions of financial and management accountants. It will also provide a thorough examination of accounting information systems. The focus will shift to financial statements, offering a deep understanding of their purpose, applications, and the essential skills needed for interpretation and analysis. Participants will become adept at interpreting key financial ratios, improving their ability to draw valuable insights from financial data.
Fundamentals of Finance
In this module, participants will investigate various financing sources, including debt, equity, and the interplay between them. The pecking order theory and principles of Islamic finance will also be covered. Additionally, the module will delve into common financial instruments such as shares, bonds, and loans, exploring aspects like dividends, share types, and fixed versus floating rates. Participants will master key finance concepts, including cost of capital, IRR, NPV, Return on Investment and Payback period.
Marketing
This module will reveal the critical role of marketing and explore the essential 4 P’s: Product, Price, Place, and Promotion. Participants will examine different marketing strategies and concepts, including the significance of customer acquisition costs and effective target marketing. Through hands-on exercises and real-world business scenarios, participants will apply their marketing insights in interactive discussions and strategic decision-making activities.
