Dr Yasir Jan is a Senior AI Consultant, at Center for Advanced Research in Engineering, Islamabad, Pakistan. He is also teaching as an Assistant Professor, and HoD AI, at SS-CASE-IT (Sir Syed Center For Advanced Studies in Engineering, Institute of Technology), Islamabad Pakistan. He did his PhD from Murdoch University, Australia in 2021. After his PhD, he worked in industry, in Australia, on various projects related to Computer Vision/AI. He also taught in Pakistan as a Lecturer at National University of Sciences and Technology, Pakistan. He did his Masters in Electronics and Electrical Engg from POSTECH (Pohang University of Sciences and Technology), South Korea. He did his Bachelors in Computer Engineering, from National University of Sciences and Technology, Pakistan.
