Message from the Vice Chancellor

It is my pleasure to inform parents that CASE has obtained a degree awarding status from Federal Government of Pakistan under No. F.9(26)/2018‐Legis through the act of Majlis‐e‐Shoora (Parliament) dated May 22, 2018. As per the new act, CASE has already been transformed into Sir Syed CASE Institute of Technology (SS‐CASE‐IT), Islamabad.

This is an excellent achievement of CASE Faculty & Staff members whose efforts of 17 years have been reflected in this transformation.

Being the first Vice Chancellor of this great Institute, I feel very proud to lead a team of faculty with strong industrial and research linkages, professional staff members and other foreign expert along with our bright and shining students. The new degree awarding status for SS‐CASE‐IT has given us a chance to further evolve this institute making it National Center of Higher learning in Pakistan. In the first year of celebrations of SS‐CASE‐IT, our faculty members secured a funding of Rs 200 million from various funding organizations. About 100 researchers, scientists, scholars and professional will work on these projects and our students will get a unique chance of working on these projects using state of the art technologies and methods.

Our graduated students have already taken important positions in various national and multinational organizations. There is a good number of alumni who are doing their own businesses in the area of IT, Software development and other engineering sectors. We are determined to make this institute a place where our graduates are not only the best choice of the organizations but also develop their own products to create jobs for a knowledge base economy.

I welcome the parents and students to our new custom built campus recently constructed in the vicinity of Margalla hills and inside a beautiful modern housing society in Block A, Multi Garden, Sector B 17 Islamabad.

Dr. Khawaja Shafaat Ahmad Bazaz

Vice Chancellor
