Choosing a Program of Study

There has been a recent development that should be highlighted for prospective students to help them choose a specific program and its offering institution.

Pakistan has recently acquired the status of ‘Full Signatory’ to the Washington Accord(WA) (http://www.pec.org.pk/chairman_msg.aspx). It allows our professionals graduating from accredited programs to be treated at par with graduates of other member countries. The list now includes Australia, Canada, Hong Kong, India, Ireland, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, New Zealand, Pakistan, Russia, Singapore, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Turkey, the United Kingdom and the United States. Graduates from Level II accredited engineering programs of Pakistan Engineering Council will now be able to work in the member countries without requiring any other license / equivalence from the respective engineering bodies of the member countries.

Center for Advanced Studies in Engineering (CASE) is proud of the fact that its Electrical Engineering Program is among the first and a total of four accredited Electrical Engineering programs nationwide with the three-year Level-II accreditation required by the WA (http://www.pec.org.pk/schedule_first_level_II.aspx). Majority of Engineering programs in Pakistan are still under level I accreditation by PEC.

Looking forward to see you join our program with solid confidence in its excellence as stamped by Pakistan Engineering Council and exemplified by the performance of our students and graduates in various competitive environments.
