Description:
Did my Bachelors from COMSATS, Islamabad with focus on Data Handling Techniques. After undergrad, I worked as Software Engineer in KalSoft Pvt. Ltd. where I worked on mega projects like Enabling E-Police which is deployed in Islamabad. Another project that I worked on was automating the work flow of Ministry of Population. After this, I did my MS from NUCES-FAST in the area of Genetic Programming under the supervision of Dr. Hammad Majeed. After completing my Masters, I joined CASE in 2012. Currently I am also pursuing my PhD from NUCES-FAST under the guidance of Dr. Omer Baig

Research Interest:

Title Description
Competitive and co-operative Analysis of Genetic Programming (GP) The evolution of GP is driven by co-operative and competitive building blocks. There exists useful schema which remains promising and persistent in terms of their occurrence over the generations. These schemas are majorly present at levels other than root level and gradually this genetic material is pushed towards the root level by co-operation.
Compiler Optimization and Green Computation My current research interests include how we can improve the performance of the system by optimizing the utilization of cache lines so that number of cache misses is minimized.
